The Seb West Gallery showcases the work of one artist.

Seb West was born in St. Ives and first rose to prominence in the early nineties with his painted linocut reliefs. He has since diversified across a range of media and styles. For Seb, his artwork is not about creating a purely visual representation, Seb’s love of St. Ives and his intimate knowledge of the area enable him to capture the essence of his surroundings from his own personal perspective, making his work intimate, vivid and contemporary. He has chosen to circumvent the local gallery circuit and has owned and run his own gallery since 1995, starting in a side street and moving to larger premises as his reputation grew as an artist. You can now see his pictures at the fourth and final incarnation of the Seb West Gallery, now one of the most prominent galleries in St. Ives. On display is a selection of the artist's constantly evolving works both abstract and figurative. There is also an extensive range of sketches, prints, limited edition canvas prints and art cards.
