For many years my abstract paintings have been landscape based, but recently I have been creating vibrant abstract pieces inspired by music. For these pieces  my starting point is usually a song or playlist. I paint while listening to music as varied as Afrobeat, Indy, Latin jazz and Funk, trying to capture the free forms, urgency and energy of the music.
